Default Where should I go tonight?

I'm starting to feel really anxious about this impending hurricane Ophelia on its way to where I am... I'm not sure how well I can take it... I'm getting really scared Where should I go

These are my options:
(1) Stay home alone,
(2) Stay at the hospital,
(3) Stay at a college friend's house,
(4) ?

*shiver* It's cold in here.. I'm tired.. and starting to get freaked out

Just need help deciding what to do.

I've been through enough 'canes in my time. If you're inland and in good construction, Ophelia is one you can ride out. Have plenty of batteries and flashlights on hand, get some extra ice and get munchies. Get entertainment you can do without power... books and the like. These cat 1s are more annoying than anything.

If you're coastal, go inland, don't mess with it regardless of strength.

If you have a yard, pick up anything you don't want to become a missile.

Of course, if you don't like being alone in the dark, go to a friends. The hospital would just get too ... well, impersonal, cold. IMO.

Stay with a friend. Make sure you have a battery powered radio. As MSecorsky said too. Flashlights, Food, Drink, some kind of entertainment. A deck of cards is a no-power kind of entertainment. Oh...and you never can have too much toliet paper.

Ah.. brings up a good point... extra water just in case. Fill the tub and keep a bucket handy. You may need it to flush!

Completely serious on this point.

If the location under your name is where you are, you should be fine at home. The storm is weakening and moving out to sea. It has been downgraded just now to a Tropical Storm.

If you need some comfort food, I got pork chops and fried potatoes... and I'm VERY far from ANY potential hurricanes.
